TabTrade — What It Is
TabTrade.com launched in March 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It suggests the leadership has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. Still preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For something this new, the breadth is not narrow.
The Software
Available: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is reportedly coming. That should round things out when it arrives.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Simple. $0 to start. Suits beginners.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not for the average person. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.
Execution Speed
This is the area where this broker actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.
Does it matter? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the setup is serious. That says what kind of broker this is.
Pair those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package makes sense. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
Here is the thing you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.
But. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. This does not make it safe. But be part of how you think about it.
The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works is your call.
The Bonus
Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You deposit, they top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.
