Tab Trade — What It Is
TabTrade opened in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
His background matters. It says the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. It is preferable to a founder with no industry background.
The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.
The instrument list: FX, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For something that launched in March 2026, that range is broad.
What You Trade On
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Most brokers pick one platform. Access to both is useful. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is said to be on the roadmap. That will round things out once it is live.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Works for beginners.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. This broker does not.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not for typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is where Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers quote hundreds of milliseconds.
Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. But the fact that the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering holds up. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
Safety
This is the part you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.
But. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. That does not make it safe. But be part of how you think about it.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that makes sense comes down to your priorities.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical deposit match. You deposit, they add bonus funds. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you deposit.
